Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent for Overdose Awareness Day. It was a hard day for remembering all those we have lost, but we had so many people trained and walking away with Naloxone kits and Fentanyl test strips that can save lives.
We even had people visiting from across the world get trained, and they were eager to bring our pamphlets and merchandise back to their home countries to continue spreading awareness. To know that our organization will be making an impact globally is truly special.
And a big thank you to Vancouver Coastal Health for partnering with us to provide Naloxone training on this important day.
May our loved ones rest in peace, and let’s continue to educate ourselves and save lives in their honour.

Donations help us continue to put on important events like these for our communities.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and supporters, Lukas House Society was able to hand out donations to over 250 homeless individuals residing on the DT Eastside of Vancouver, BC and Calgary, AB.
The gratitude we received was overwhelming, and moments like these remind us of the power of compassion.
Thanks to your generosity we warmed hearts, inspired hope, filled some tummy’s and provided a little warmth for the cold months ahead.

At Lukas House Society, we are committed to raising awareness about the opioid crisis and educating the public on harm reduction strategies that can save lives. By fostering open conversations and providing education on mental health and substance use, we aim to eliminate the stigma that prevents people from seeking help.
Our mission is to create a more informed and compassionate community, where individuals feel supported in their journey toward mental wellness and recovery.

Lukas House Society is proud to lead events that foster mental health awareness and community support throughout Vancouver and British Columbia. Whether through school presentations or Overdose Awareness Day, which addresses the public health crisis affecting everyone, we emphasize the critical need for mental health resources and support.
In addition to these educational efforts, our donation drives on the Downtown Eastside ensure vulnerable individuals receive necessary resources while helping reduce the stigma around mental health. Every event we hold helps build a stronger, more connected community.
To share a meal to support and share is a good thing! We gather to talk about life, addiction, Lukas' struggle with drugs and the challenges that mental health has on oneself and the family.
We are working to provide a program that will pair at-risk youth with rescue animals. Animal therapy has consistently proven to beneficial to people with various mental health struggles. There is something unique about the healing powers of caring for an animal that is dependant on you.
Over 14,000 British Columbians have lost their lives to overdose since the declaration of the opioid crisis as a public health emergency in 2016. Donations help us educate about harm reduction and save lives.
